PAT Testing Labels

Tested & Inspected Equipment must be identifiable

Ensuring that the electrical equipment is identifiable after it has been Pat Tested is usually done by labelling the equipment with a Pat Testing Label / Sticker.

The Pat Testing Label itself must contain the following:

Unique identification code (Making Equipment identifiable).
The result of the Pat Test (PASS or FAIL).
The date the portable appliance was tested.
A Re-Test period or the Re-Test date
